Samsung recently unveiled its latest range of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered home appliances at the Welcome to Bespoke AI event. This event, held in three different locations – Seoul, Paris, and New York City, showcased the innovative products set to hit the markets. By integrating AI into its products, Samsung aims to revolutionize the consumer experience with new features and capabilities.

Among the products launched at the event were the Bespoke French Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub, Bespoke Infinite Induction Line, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI, Bespoke Jet AI, Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, and other specific products tailored to European and North American markets. All these appliances come equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, internal cameras, AI chips, and are compatible with the SmartThings application.

One of the standout features introduced by Samsung is the 7-inch LCD panel called the AI Home, which allows users to easily control and monitor the connected ecosystem. This feature enables users to control multiple appliances simultaneously and access media, music, and recipes while cooking. Additionally, the Mobile Smart Connect feature sends alerts to the user’s phone when in close proximity to the appliances, providing quick access to key functions.

Product-Specific Innovations

The refrigerator introduced by Samsung boasts AI vision technology that can identify 33 different fresh food items using an internal camera. This allows the appliance to recommend recipes based on the items stored inside. The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI, a robot vacuum cleaner, is capable of recognizing various objects such as humans, pets, cables, and rugs, adjusting its cleaning method accordingly. Furthermore, Samsung has integrated generative AI capabilities into its voice assistant, Bixby, enabling it to understand complex requests and tasks.
