In response to the sluggish sales pace in April, the share of sellers cutting prices rose to 6.4% in May, the highest level since 2022. Additionally, the median asking price dipped for the first time in six months, signaling a potential trend towards greater affordability. Active inventory in April also saw a notable increase of 30% compared to the same time last year, hinting at a more active summer market ahead.
