The parents of Nuria and Selena, Sajjad Butt, Smera Chohan, Franky Lau, and Jessie Deng, criticized the decision made by the CPS. They expressed their belief that justice has not been served and questioned the thoroughness of the investigation. In a heartfelt statement, they emphasized that their children were in a safe environment and deserved better than the tragic outcome that ensued.
